Just recently, I listened to Brené Brown’s two-part podcast with Bono. It was amazing. Most of the conversation revolved around Bono’s paradoxical life. How he lives in the divergence. In the middle of two things that don’t make sense. And how he struggles in his lyrics. From about ’97 through college, I obsessively listened to U2’s song, “With or Without You.” As I thought about those lyrics, I can’t live, with or without you, I questioned my own divergence. Maybe it’s age.
